Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Dar to Mikumi & Game Drive (L, D)
Overnight at: Mikumi NP Lodge/Camp
Morning: Early pickup from Dar es Salaam (5:00 AM) and drive to Mikumi NP.
Afternoon: Check-in, hot lunch, and extensive game drive in Mikumi National Park.
Day 2: Mikumi to Selous & Boat Safari (B, L, D)
Overnight at: Nyerere NP (Selous) Lodge/Camp
Morning: Sunrise game drive in Mikumi, then drive south to Nyerere NP (approx. 4-5 hours).
Afternoon: Check-in, hot lunch, followed by the spectacular Boat Safari on the Rufiji River, a highlight of the South.
Day 3: Full Day Selous Exploration (B, L, D)
Overnight at: Nyerere NP (Selous) Lodge/Camp
Full Day: Full day of game driving in Nyerere National Park. Explore different regions of Africa's largest protected area, seeking out huge herds of elephants, hippos, buffalo, and the endangered African wild dog.
Day 4: Walking Safari & Return to Dar (B, L)
End Point: Dar es Salaam (Drop-off)
Morning: Early Guided Walking Safari with an armed ranger for an intimate view of the bush (Optional Activity, may be included). Return for breakfast and begin the long scenic drive back to Dar es Salaam.
Drop-off: Arrive in Dar es Salaam in the evening.
