Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Dar to Mikumi & Full Game Drive (L, D)
Overnight at: Mikumi NP Lodge/Camp
Morning: Early pickup from Dar es Salaam (5:00 AM) and drive to Mikumi NP.
Afternoon: Check-in, hot lunch, and extensive game drive in the park, focusing on the Mkata Plains.
Day 2: Mikumi to Selous & Boat Safari (B, L, D)
Overnight at: Nyerere NP (Selous) Lodge/Camp
Morning: Early drive south from Mikumi to Nyerere NP (approx. 4-5 hours).
Afternoon: Hot lunch at the lodge, followed by the park's signature Boat Safari on the Rufiji River, a unique way to view aquatic life.
Day 3: Selous Game Drive & Return to Dar (B, L)
End Point: Dar es Salaam (Drop-off)
Morning: Early full game drive in Nyerere, searching for predators and the African wild dog.
Lunch: Hot lunch at the lodge.
Afternoon: Begin the long drive back to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the evening.
